The complete cast for the upcoming Broadway run of the new "The Great Gatsby" musical adaptation has been confirmed, following an announcement of the transfer last January.
Based on the classic 1925 F. Scott Fitzgerald novel of the same name, the production held its world premiere at the Paper Mill Playhouse Theater in New Jersey last October. Previews start on March 29 at New York's Broadway Theatre, with an opening night on April 25.
'The Great Gatsby' Broadway Musical's Complete Cast
As previously disclosed, the main cast remains unchanged with "Newsies" star Jeremy Jordan headlining as Jay Gatsby opposite of Tony-nominated "Hadestown" actress Eva Noblezada as Daisy Buchanan.
As per Broadway World, joining them are "Frozen" actor Noah J. Ricketts as Nick Carraway, "Six" actress Samantha Pauly as Jordan Baker, "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" actress Sara Chase as Myrtle Wilson, "Good Night Oscar" actor John Zdrojeski as Tom Buchanan, "Come From Away" actor Paul Whitty as George Wilson, and "Moulin Rouge! The Musical" actor Eric Anderson as Wolfsheim.
Ricketts, Pauly, Chase, Zdrojeski, and Whitty will be reprising the roles they originated during the Paper Mill Theater run of the musical.
These cast members will perform alongside an ensemble that includes Raymond Edward Baynard ("MJ: the Musical"), Austin Colby ("Frozen"), Curtis Holland ("Mean Girls"), Traci Elaine Lee ("Shucked"), Dariana Mullen ("The Great Gatsby" Paper Mill run), and Ryah Nixon ("Boop! The Musical").
Also onboarded on the ensemble are Mariah Reshea Reives ("Funny Girl"), Dan Rosales ("Trevor: The Musical"), Dave Schoonover ("Bad Cinderella"), Derek Jordan Taylor ("Funny Girl"), Tanairi Sade Vazquez ("On Your Feet!"), and Katie Webber ("Rock of Ages").
Serving as swings are "Funny Girl" actor Kurt Csolak, "Pretty Woman" actress Carissa Gaughran, "Sweeney Todd" actress Samantha Pollino, "New York, New York" Alex Prakken, "The Great Gatsby" (during its Paper Mill run) actor Jake Trammel, and "After Midnight" actress Jasmine Pearl Villaroel.

'The Great Gatsby' Broadway Musical's Creative and Production Team
The new musical adaptation is produced by Chunsoo Shin, an acclaimed Korean theater figure, while the music and lyrics are by Tony-nominated "Paradise Square" songwriter Nathan Tysen and Tony-nominated "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical" composer Jason Howland.
"The Great Gatsby" musical book, on the other hand, is written by "The Mad Ones" playwright Kait Kerrigan. Returning from the Paper Mill run to direct the Broadway transfer is Marc Bruni, who will work alongside "Mariah's Magical Christmas Special" choreographer Dominique Kelley.
Working under Bruni's direction is a creative team that comprises Tony-winning costume designer Linda Cho, lighting designer Cory Pattak, Tony-winning sound designer Brian Ronan, and Drama Desk-winning hair and wig designer Charles G. Lapointe.
Arrangements for the musical are by Jason Howland, who also joins Kim Scharngberg as co-orchestrators, with musical direction from Daniel Edmonds. Grammy-winning music producer Billy Jay Stein joins the production team as a representative for Strike Audio.
The C12 Casting company is responsible for casting, while Brian Bogin acts as production stage manager. Foresight Theatrical's Mark Shacket will be executive producing the Broadway stage musical.
