"Suffs," the Hillary Clinton-backed Broadway musical about the 1913 Women's Suffrage movement, held its first day of rehearsals last week ahead of its previews at the Music Box Theatre starting on March 16 and an opening night on April 18, Broadway World reports.
Producers Jill Furman and Rachel Sussman will join co-producers Clinton and Malala Yousafzai as backers of the upcoming Broadway premiere of the musical, which had an off-Broadway sold-out run at New York's Public Theater back in 2022.
Take an inside look as Clinton visits the "Suffs" cast led by Shaina Taub, who is also responsible for writing the production's book, music, and lyrics.
