Gwen Stefani returned to The Voice as Blake Shelton's team adviser March 21, and the chemistry was evident. Even after five months of dating, the country crooner still can’t hide his attraction to his rockstar girlfriend and gushed about how “hot” she is while training his team on the hit show.
Because this week is still battle rounds, the couple gets to work together to help train Team Blake for the competition. Shelton introduced his team members, Jared Harder and Adam Wakefield, to the 46-year-old “Make Me Like You" singer as "the great Gwen Stefani."
"Blake wanted to bring in an expert to help you guys, so he called me," Stefani joked, considering that country music is not her main genre. "A country music expert," the 39-year-old Shelton quipped.
Stefani admitted that it isn’t her forte, but noted that she’s making progress in the unfamiliar genre saying, I'm getting there, though! I loved working outside of my lane."
The banter was completed with one note by Shelton, "Also, she's hot," the beaming coach said.
Meanwhile, their off-screen adventures continue, as Stefani shared an adorable Snapchat video of Shelton on a hike with her 2-year-old son Apollo, earlier that day.

Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced their split in July 2015. Just a month later, Stefani ended her 13-year-marriage to Gavin Rossdale after discovering he had cheated on her with their nanny. Stefani and Shelton started dating a few months later, after they spent time together on The Voice.
