Cameron Diaz has always looked good and her active lifestyle has played a big role in her enviable and fit physique. But when she graced the cover of the Women's Health magazine's March issue, her face was totally different and many wondered if it was heavily photoshopped or if the actress had plastic surgery.
“It’s not unlikely that she may have had Botox as her face and forehead in particular look very smooth,” New York City plastic surgeon Dr. David Cangello, M.D. told HollywoodLife exclusively. “There is no way to know for certain however, if that is a result of Botox or Photoshop.”
The 43-year old actress looked shockingly youthful on the cover and the doctor explained that although it is hard to fully distinguish of what was done on the cover, he is sure that it is definitely not a natural look we're seeing.
“The distance between her hairline and eyebrows is quite long and the eyebrows look like they may be slightly flatter and lower than normal,” he explained. “In combination with the smoothness of her forehead this could definitely be from Botox.”
Diaz previously admitted getting a nose job due to her breathing problems, and she also opened up about Botox and how she regretted it because it changed her face and she's not happy with the result.
"It changed my face in such a weird way that I was like, 'No, I don't want to be like that' - I'd rather see my face aging than a face that doesn't belong to me at all,” she told Entertainment Tonight at that time.
Dr. Cangello was right on the money when he commented about Diaz's nose saying, “The tip of her nose looks a little pinched as well (she normally has a broad tip),” he noted. “Based on this picture alone that could be Photoshop or a rhinoplasty.”
