Khloe Kardashian Reveals That Kanye West's New Album Helped Lamar Odom's Recovery

For Lamar Odom to still be alive after his scary overdose is already a miracle, and now his speech has improved drastically which is another success for the troubled athlete's road to recovery. According to his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, Kanye West's new album The Life of Pablo has helped Odom to learn to speak again.

Kardashian opened up to Hollywood Today Live on Tuesday about the 36-year-old former professional basketball player's recovery from an overdose at a Nevada brothel. The 31-year-old Kocktails With Khloe host revealed that Kanye was a big help in Odom's recovery.

“Kanye was really instrumental in Lamar’s getting better," she said. "Kanye would come to the hospital and play his album for Lamar and Lamar couldn’t speak at this time, and music is definitely a form of therapy."

Kardashian was happy that Odom wanted to support Kanye during his recent Yeezy Season 3 show, but there was too much "anxiety" for the reality star, and she initially didn't like the idea of Odom being there.

"I did not want him to really go to New York. It's scary. I had a ton of anxiety," Khloe shared. "Your first time out at Madison Square Garden? Like, I just felt like, 'Is it too much stimulus for his brain? Who knows? Everyone cleared him. He was good to go, and it meant so much to Lamar. And I thought it was so dope of Kanye to want to walk out with Lamar."

It's nice to know that even, after all, the family had been through, they are still supporting and helping one another.
