Kobe Bryant Shows Off Superstar Scoring Skills with 38 Points for Lakers vs. Timberwolves

Kobe Bryant has had a bit of a down season throughout the majority of the 2015-16 NBA season. That being said, he showed off his superstar scoring skills with 38 points for the Lakers vs. the Timberwolves.

It was the type of game that Bryant needed to get back on track and putting up that type of game in front of the home crowd was huge.

Los Angeles ended up defeating the Timberwolves by a final score of 119-115. It was the type of win that the team has been needing for quite some time and Bryant finally powered them there. There is no doubt that Bryant still has some game left, but his age is obviously catching up with him.

Bryant ended up scoring 38 points, but the more impressive statistics were how he shot throughout the game. He shot 10-21 from the field overall and knocked down 7-11 from behind the three-point arc. Not only did he shoot well from the floor, he also filled in 11 of his 12 attempts from the foul line.

At 37 years old, Bryant is playing in his final NBA season this year. It is going to be a sad day when the Lakers no longer have No. 24 leading the way. Bryant is a shell of his former self that led Los Angeles multiple championships, but he still has the potential to break out and have an impressive second half of the season to end his career.

Minnesota is one of the most talented up-and-coming teams in the NBA and winning this game was big for the Lakers.

All of that being said, these moments need to be enjoyed as much as possible. Bryant isn't going to put up those numbers on a nightly basis, but when he does they are much more special than they have ever been.

Check out the full highlights from his 38-point game against the Timberwolves and enjoy watching the old Bryant once again.
