With Season 22 of Dancing with the Stars not scheduled to premiere for a couple of months yet, the powers that be at ABC are still keeping the 2016 cast lineup under lock and key, but that hasn't stopped people from constantly speculating. According to the latest gossip news updates, both New York Giants' running back Rashad Jennings and Orange Is the New Black's Taryn Manning are likely to be joining the pros in March. For her part, Kirstie Alley suggested that Rhea Perlman would be perfect for the show, only to opine that the Cheers alum probably wouldn't be up for it.
While no one seems to really know for sure, there are quite a few theories floating around about exactly which celebs will soon be joining the Season 22 cast of ABC's Dancing with the Stars.
Last week Youth Health Mag seemed fairly convinced that New York Giants' running back Rashad Jennings had already signed up for the show -- judging by some comments he made to TMZ back in December:
"He's been in contact with the honchos over at DWTS and is confident he'll be the next big NFL star to jitterbug, waltz, and samba on TV."
Several outlets have also been claiming that Orange Is the New Black's Taryn Manning is a shoo-in for 2016 given her recently mentioning the series in a cryptic Twitter post.
Although they didn't exactly give any hard evidence themselves, the journalists at Breathe Cast claim that all signs seem to point to Manning's joining the Season 22 pros:
"Her post, along with her schedule, has led fans to speculate that she is set to enter the ballroom platform in the show's season 22."
Season 12 runner-up, Kirstie Allie even got into the act -- recently telling WetPaint that she thought ABC should sign her good friend, Rhea Perlman, up to compete in 2016:
"I think Rhea would be good on Dancing with the Stars, because Rhea is a really good dancer.
"[But] I don't know if she'd do it."
