It seemed odd at first to hear that Khloe Kardashian had chosen Long Beach rapper, Snoop Dogg, to be the first guest on her new talk show, Kocktails with Khloe, but everything became clear after the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star's lone caveat came to light. According to the latest gossip news updates, Lamar Odom's wife made Snoop promise to apologize to Khloe's ex-stepdad, Caitlyn Jenner, before being invited on the show. Shortly after announcing her transgender transition last year, Snoop Dog reportedly posted an offensive meme making fun of Caitlin to social media, but all has reportedly been forgiven since his supposedly calling to say he is sorry.
After Snoop Dogg made the mistake of posting a crass meme poking fun at Caitlyn Jenner's transgender transition last year, it seemed that things were all but over between the iconic Long Beach wordsmith and the reality TV clan, but word has it that Khloe Kardashain has figured out a way for rapper to make it up to the family.
According to the secret insider that Hollywood Life spoke to, before Khloe would agree to have him on her upcoming talk show, Kocktails with Khloe, she made Snoop smooth things over with her former stepfather:
"Khloe's always loved Snoop and his G music, and the two of them go back. But before she decided to have him as a guest on her new show, she made him call Caitlyn and apologize to her for making fun of her on social media.
"She told Snoop that friends come and go, but family is forever.
"Snoop obliged and called Cait. He told her he was stupid for doing what he did and apologized. He complimented her too, telling her she looks fly in all her paparazzi shots."
While Caitlyn Jenner's presence in the media seems a little oversaturated at times to say the least, Buzz Bissinger, who is co-writing the former Olympian's memoir, told Entertainment Weekly that he feels confident that there are plenty more parts of Jenner's story left to tell:
"I guess the biggest fear is, there's been a lot written about Caitlyn. I frankly have written most of it.
"And I can definitely tell you on the basis of starting to interview her, there's much, much more to be told: about her life, thinking about making this transition, about the pain you go through, the confusion you go through."
What do you think about Khloe's having Snoop Dogg on her show?
Is it a mistake to forgive and forget so easily?
Or, would the Kardashians have to be crazy to take every ugly thing people said about them too personally?
