Original Cast of 'A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder' Unite Feb. 13 For Cabaret of Songs

The original stars of the Tony award-winning show, The Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, are planning to reunite February 13 for one show. It is a special thank you to the fans, and the cast is planning a cabaret-style evening, showcasing songs from the show. It will be hosted by composer, Steven Lutvak, and he will be joined by cast members, Jefferson Mays, Bryce Pinkham and Lisa O'Hare, along with Catherine Walker.

There are two types of tickets available, General and VIP. The VIP costs double the General ($250 to 125), but gives the purchaser a far wider range of things to do. The VIP show starts at 6 p.m. on the 13th, and according to the press release, "A limited number of VIP tickets are available for a special 6 p.m. cocktail reception featuring a Conversation with the Artists, a moderated Q&A discussion with the cast in the magnificent Breakfast Room - rarely open to the public - followed by dinner, concert and dessert. Note: this second-floor room is accessible by the grand staircase only."

The general-admission show starts at 7 p.m. and includes cocktails, dinner, concert and dessert..

The main run of the show ends in six days. When the final show occurs at the Walter Kerr Theater, A Gentleman's Guide will have played 30 previews and 905 performances of the show at the Walter Kerr theater.

According to the play's web site, the show has been a success, and producer, Joey Parnes, had this to say, "The success of this show - which we've often said is nothing short of a miracle - is a testament to the artists who have created it and the audiences who have embraced it. This experience has been such a constant joy and, while we wish it could run on Broadway forever, we are excited about bringing the show to audiences from coast-to-coast with our tour."
