Republican Candidate Donald Trump Revs his Campaign, Plans to Spend $2 Million a Week on Ads

O glorious day! We get more of Donald Trump! Seriously, the billionaire Republican candidate has revealed plans to spend $ 2 million per week on ads featuring our Future Glorious Leader. Better yet, Trump claims is campaign is $35 million under budget. So what does that mean for us?

Well, the first thing we get is most likely more of the above. As Uproxx put it, "Donald Trump's first campaign ad is basically just a rundown of his greatest hits." And it really is. My favorite part of the ad is where it claims Trump will cut off ISIS head and take all their oil. Of course, it never mentions exactly how he's going to do either thing, and considering the difficulties involved in taking out an amorphous radical organization, I am not surprised it doesn't. Even taking out Osama bin Laden didn't end Al Qaeda once and for all.

So what kind of ads trumpeting Trump will we be blessed to endure? According to CNN, "Trump told the media before his evening rally in Iowa that the $2 million a week would feature messages on border security, trade and protecting the nation from the threat of ISIS."

We'll probably also see a lot of attack ads, as Trump claims "If anybody goes after me I will spend a lot of money against the people that go after me... Well, I'm just saying if somebody attacks me I will attack them very much and very hard in terms of ads."

So it looks like the next few weeks are going to be full of Donald Trump. Well, honestly, it'll just be more full. He's such a fun target to pick at for us writers, and who doesn't enjoy reading about his antics? Let's just hope he doesn't get in the White House, as his behavior is fine for SNL but not really for the United Nations.

So what do you think of the coming Trump ad barrage? Tells us your thoughts in the comments section below!
