While it certainly isn't unusual for the lead of the ABC's Bachelor or Bachelorette to go on to compete in the network's Dancing with the Stars series, it has never happened the other way around - until now. According to the latest gossip news updates, Dancing champion turned Broadway star, Rumer Willis, is at the very top of the list to take the lead in the popular dating show next season. Of course, from the looks of her Instagram account, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis' eldest daughter might be too busy with her legitimate stage career to bother with another reality TV show.
She stole the show on her season of Dancing with the Stars and now word has it that the powers that be at ABC are hoping Rumer Willis will be able to bring that same level of fan excitement to their dating game show, The Bachelorette.
One source in the latest December 28, issue of OK! Magazine insists that Rumer's role as the next Bachelorette is all but assured if ABC are willing to promise that they won't let her look bad:
"Her agents are looking for wide assurances and controls so Rumer isn't embarrassed by the experience, but she's at the top of the list.
"ABC is convinced she'll be ratings gold."
From the looks of her social media presence, however, it seems like Rumer is busy scaring up more legitimate work as an actor and dancer.
Willis' partner in crime, Tye Blue, recently posted a revealing picture of the Rumer to Instagram, reports the Daily Mail, accompanied with a caption explaining that she was hard at work trying to land her next big gig:
"When you have a #ScreenTest for a major project but the studio doesn't have anywhere for you to be so they put you in a control room by security. #Showbiz #Candid #Seriously #Glamour #BluelyNoted @ruelarue"
What do you think about Rumer Willis becoming the next Bachelorette?
Would she be better off trying to further her career outside of the realm of reality television?
Or, would Willis joining the populatr dating show be another amazing opportunity for Rumer to continue to raise her celebrity profile?
