Watch: Is This a Leaked Teaser Trailer for Marvel's 'Doctor Strange'?

After Marvel gets past Captain America: Civil War, one of the next big films to be released by the juggernaut is 'Doctor Strange' starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme. An amazing teaser has gone online, but is it the real deal?

Check out the trailer below:

This trailer is brought to you by YouTuber, iVenyaWay, and has all of the necessary pieces needed to be an official Marvel trailer, including using a song ('People are Strange' by The Doors) just like the trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron did with 'No Strings on Me'. It has all of the pieces, but this is only just a fan made trailer. I will say that it is worth the watch, because it is so good that only a keen observer will see that this is a fake. I am sure that we will get a full trailer in front of Captain America: Civil War.

Let us get back to the trailer. There are a lot of good things going on here, and will probably be pretty close to what we can expect to see when the official trailer does go online. The first thing to note is how well the Doors song, 'People are Strange', being slowed down works for this trailer. Hopefully this is something that the good folks at Marvel have seen already and are considering.

We get some great shots of Cumberbatch with bloodied hands, and donning that all-to-familiar goatee that fans of the magician know him to have. We get a few shots of Steven Strange travelling to Tibet and some shots of a few other places. All-in-all, this is a great fan-made trailer. I am really impressed, and it is a shame that it is not real.

It is almost certain that Marvel will start the Doctor Strange tale from the very beginning. We will get to see him as an amazing surgeon, who after a car crash, has his life completely changed. This is a film that I cannot wait for, and will mark the first big step of Marvel to begin to show us their cosmic realm and will bring magic into the fray. This is going to mark a big moment for Marvel, who have been establishing the easier characters they have in their catalog to the big screen. They now will be faced with the challenge of making their magical cosmic universes believable on the big screen.

Doctor Strange is slotted for a release in theaters in 2016.
