LeAnn Rimes Cancels Eddie Cibrian Baby Plans? [NEWS]

All through the filming of their now debunked Vh1 reality series, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian bandied about the idea of having a baby of their own, but now that the spotlight has faded it seems LeAnn's demands to get pregnant have retreated right along with it. According to the latest gossip news updates, the country music star is no longer hell-bent on having a baby, instead contenting herself these days with raising his kids from Ed's previous marriage. For her part, it would seem that Eddie's ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, still isn't over that previous marriage, despite having already called a truce. At the beginning of the month, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member attacked Cibrian's perceived attempts to control her on Twitter.

LeAnn Rimes practically seemed desperate at times to have a baby when she was making LeAnn & Eddie with her husband, Eddie Cibrian, but it would seem that she has since convinced herself that raising 2-stepchildren is more than enough work.

During her interview for the latest December 21, issue of InTouch, LeAnn admitted that there are days when they still wonder aloud if having a baby would be a good idea, but for the time being they are content enough with the kids the already have:

"We talk about it all the time, but it's not right on the horizon.

"I have two kids in my house half the time, so I know what it takes to be a parent. I know my life will change -- I just don't know if I'm ready for that yet.

"Life is fine just as it is."

Apparently, Brandi Glanville might want to argue with LeAnn's remark that everything is fine, after sending out a cryptic tweet lamenting Eddie Cibrian's presumed attempts to try to control her even though she is single (via Starpulse):

"Ex's are ex's for a reason & no longer have claim on what you do or DON'T do."

Given the unsettling affect motherhood has had on Brandi Glanville, perhaps it is best if LeAnn just stopped at being a stepmom after all.

What do you think about LeAnn Rimes pulling a 180 in regards to wanting a baby?

Was she probably just hamming it up for the reality TV cameras the whole time?

Or, is there a more rational explanation for Rimes completely changing her mind about wanting to get pregnant?

Let us hear what you have to say about it in the comment field below.
