There was no winner for this week’s Powerball lottery news info crawl. That means that the jackpot total for this weekend’s (Sat, Dec 12) game has risen once again. Check the report below to see how much you could win before you go and grab a ticket.
The official Powerball lottery website new info crawl currently reads:
“There were no jackpot winners for Wednesday's drawing... The next drawing will be Saturday, December 12th, 2015.”
That means that the total for tonight’s (Saturday, Dec 12) all new jackpot has reached a whopping $164 million with an estimated cash value option of $99.6 million.
The official Powerball lottery jackpot is reporting on one lucky winner who recently brought home an extra $50 million, writing:
“A Carroll County man was just one number away from winning a big Powerball jackpot last month and ended up winning a $50,000 prize.
“Jeff Kraus of Lidderdale, Iowa matched four white balls and the Powerball in the Nov. 11 drawing to win a $50,000 prize. Kraus purchased his winning ticket at Sparky's One Stop, 1515 Plaza Drive in Carroll. He claimed his prize Friday at the lottery's headquarters in Clive.”
