There was no winner for this week’s Mega Millions grand jackpot prize. That means that this weekend’s game (Friday, Dec 11) total has risen even higher. Check the report below to see how much you could win.
The all new jackpot total for the Friday, December 11 Mega Millions lottery game has reached a whopping $66 million with an estimated cash value option for $40 million.
Despite the high total, don’t let your guard down when it comes to the lottery. The official Mega Millions lottery website is reporting a scam that is going around:
“A new scam is making the rounds on social media, promising million dollar prizes from “Mega Millions.” Most recently this scam is using Instagram but similar attempts have been made on Facebook and other social media channels. These scams are not connected in any way to the real Mega Millions game, and are fraudulently using our name, our logo and our images. Lottery officials strongly warn people not to click on any links associated with these scams.
“The only way to play Mega Millions and possibly win a prize is to buy a Mega Millions ticket from a state lottery or a licensed retailer in one of those states. Mega Millions is played in 46 jurisdictions: 44 states plus the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. If you do not buy a ticket, you cannot win.
