Nick Cannon Talks Kids after Mariah Carey Divorce?

While some celebrities -- like Halle Berry -- have no problem putting their children front and center in their court battles with exes, Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey have a completely different approach to divorce. According to the latest gossip news updates, the America's Got Talent host recently opened up about his split from Mariah and what they do to make things as normal as possible for their kids. That, of course, doesn't mean that they will be abstaining from new relationships, however, as evidence by Mariah's closeness with new billionaire boyfriend, James Packer.

Although it may seem a bit unconventional by Hollywood standards, Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey seem to sincerely be dedicated to keeping their split as amicable as humanly possible for the sake of their twins, Monroe and Moroccan.

During a recent interview with Ellen, Nick explained that the trick is to keep as much love alive as possible, despite their not necessarily wanting to remain married to one another any longer (via InTouch):

"It's all about unconditional love.

"And knowing because they were so young, this is what they know: They know Mommy and Daddy still love each other, but more importantly they love us."

According to Nick, he will even be more than happy to meet Mariah's new boyfriend, James Packer, when the opportunity presents itself:

"I haven't [met him yet], I want to though. I think that would be cool.

"It's still like, we've all talked about it and stuff. It seems like it's coo."

One source in the latest December 14, issue of OK! Magazine, claims that Nick and Mariah are both happier now that Carey has James Packer to finance her lavish lifestyle.

The secret insider insists that now that she has reportedly dropped 45-pounds, Mariah has talked the Australian billionaire into paying for a traveling museum that will showcase her old, larger proportioned wardrobe:

"Mariah wants to display gowns, have her songs played on a loop and show family photos and videos, so fans can pay for the privilege of getting closer to her.

"In a perfect world, the museum would be a springboard for a big-screen version of her life, with James producing."

What do you think of Nick and Mariah's approach to divorce?
