They may have only started dating a short while ago, but Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are said to have already fallen hopelessly in love. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Voice coaches are already planning to get married just as soon as California law will allow. Word has it that they have both been left a little gun-shy since their recent divorces, so Gwen and her new boyfriend are opting for a much more subdue, even secret, wedding ceremony this time around. Shelton claims that he is even a fan of the No Doubt singer's music. Though her new song, "Used to Love You" sounds little like something his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, would sing, Blake recently explained that the song deserved every bit of the attention it was getting.
It seems a tab too soon given what little time has passed since their last marriages fell apart, but Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are already rumored to be openly discussing tying the knot.
One source in the latest December 14, issue of Life & Style magazine claims that the Voice stars have already made plans for a quiet little get together just as soon as Stefani's divorce from Gavin Rossdale is finalized in February:
"The thought of planning an actual big wedding celebration is the last thing either of them would ever want to do; so they've agreed that just disappearing for a few weeks would be ideal.
"They're thinking someplace laidback and tropical, like Mexico."
While Gwen has openly admitted that she loves Blake, the reality TV cowboy has been a little bit more coy, but Shelton has no problem talking about how much he loves Stefani's music.
During a recent interview with Extra, Blake commended Gwen not only for the success of her hit single, "Used to Love You" but also her ability to create something inspiring out of her painful divorce (via People):
"She deserves [the acclaim].
"If you go through whatever she went through to write that song, at least she's getting something good, positive out of it."
What do you think about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's relationship?
Should they hurry up and get married just as soon as the courts will let them?
Or, should the Voice coaches consider slowing things down, before they do something they might regret?
