The SEC championship game is set to take place today, December 4, and there are College Football Playoff implications on the line. No. 18 Florida (SEC East) is set to do battle with No. 2 Alabama (SEC West), and the Gators are looking to upset Bama's national title hopes. Below you can find the info for the live stream, TV schedule, betting line, a preview and prediction for the game.

TV Schedule: 4 p.m. ET

Channel: CBS

Where: Georgia Dome, Atlanta, Ga.

Live Stream: CBS Sports SEC Live

Betting Line: -17, 17.5 or 18 ALA; 39.5-40 O/U (subject to change before kickoff)

Alabama won the SEC East, going 11-1 (7-1) on the year. Their only loss came against No. 13 Ole Miss back in their third game, falling 43-37. Since then, the Crimson Tide -- led by head coach Nick Saban -- have taken down teams like Georgia, Texas A&M, No. 21 LSU, Mississippi State and Auburn without much trouble.

While Florida, 10-2 (7-1), is no challenger to make it into the College Football Playoffs this year, they've had an excellent season and want to prove the doubters wrong and show that whatever is left of the Will Muschamp era is long gone.

Following two horrendous years of going 4-8 and 7-5, respectively, by Gator standards, they've put together a solid season that include wins over Ole Miss and Georgia. However, they're coming off of a brutal beatdown by Florida State, as the Seminoles spanked them 27-2. That certainly isn't a good sign heading into a showdown with the top team in the SEC.

The Tide are 23-14 against the Gators in the history of these two great football schools. However, the Tide are 4-0 in the past four meetings, and it's looking more and more like it'll be five after today's game, as they'll simply be too overpowering in this year's meeting.

Prediction: Alabama 37, Florida 17
