Caitlyn Jenner has faced quite the backlash following her being named Women of the Year Award by Glamour magazine, but it doesn't seem to be bringing the reality star down. According to the latest gossip news updates, the former Olympian is flirting with the idea of dating a man and seems to have her eye set on her chauffeur. No matter who Caitlyn winds up dating in the future, however, famous feminists like Rose McGowan and Bette Midler won't be satisfied until Jenner takes a stronger pro-woman stance on social and political issues.
After a lifetime of living as Bruce, it has taken Caitlyn Jenner a little while to adjust toall the options that might be open to her, but that appears to be changing.
One eyewitness in the latest November 30, issue of Star magazine claims that after a recent night out with the family at Vila restaurant, Caitlyn was seen putting the mack on her chauffeur:
"Caitlyn was blushing, giggling and even went in for a big hug and birthday kiss from her driver.
"Bruce would have never done such a thing, but Caitlyn didn't even bat an eyelash.
"Caitlyn has been very coy about it. She's a bit nervous so she is taking her time. After all, Caitlyn's never tried to pick up a guy before."
It's doubtful that Caitlyn's detractors much care what is going on is Jenner's love life given the way she is using her public image.
While Bette Midler just took a playful swipe at Jenner's instance that she was still going to vote for a Republican candidate, who would likely support policies that were openly hostile towards women and Caitlyn's lifestyle in particular, Rose McGowan called out the I Am Cait lead for not knowing the first thing about what it was like to be a women (via CNN):
"Caitlyn Jenner you do not understand what being a woman is about at all,
"You want to be a woman and stand with us-well learn us. We are more than deciding what to wear. We are more than the stereotypes foisted upon us by people like you.
"You're a woman now? Well f*cking learn that we have had a VERY different experience than your life of male privilege."
What do you think about Caitlyn Jenner at this point?
Does the reality TV star need to take some time to make sure her values line up with her new place in the world?
Or, is it offensive to insist that transgender women have to think or vote a certain way to be fully accepted?
