What Ranbir Kapoor Likes and Hates About Ex-Girlfriend /'Tamasha' Co-Star Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor go back a long way and have an extensive history together. So, it should only make since that they know each other like a book. It speaks highly of them that both can idenify the faults in the other and look past them. Deepika and Ranbir recently sat down with the Times of India website and discussed a wide range of topics. For one of the rare times, they both spoke with rare candor. Especially interesting was their admission about what they admired and disliked about each other. Here's what Ranbir had to say about his ex-girlfriend and Tamasha co-star.

Deepika Padukone is a fierce trailblazer with a heart of gold. Casual observers half a world away can since this in her. She is a stalwart, yet has a sensitivity that could melt even the hardest heart. These are some of the things that stand out to her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.

He, for one, doesn't consider Deepika his good luck charm. From the Times of India, "No, I don't consider Deepika as my lucky charm. A woman who has worked so hard, who has made her own place in Bollywood, I can't consider her as my lucky charm. As far as working with her is concerned, we will continue to work together if the right films and right roles come our way."

Again, from the Times of India interview comes this quote Ranbir about what he admires about Deepika, "Her values that come from her parents. She can many a times say the wrong thing, do the wrong thing, be obnoxious, can be rude, can be sweet but, it's all coming from a place of organic sense of things, I don't think she is ever saying something because somebody else has said it. It's coming from what she thinks and she is very positive. If you are doing an interview or a scene with her there is a lot of care she will take for her co-actor or director. She does not have a hero-centric mind and is not a superstar who likes to steal the limelight from others."

Each of us have our flaws. Sometimes, the ones we love the best are the first ones to point those flaws out. From the same article, Ranbir confessed these things annoyed him about her, " That she is a flirt. That she is working too much and should not burn herself out. She should take more holidays and breaks and should reserve herself, which she has started doing now."
