Word has it that Lamar Odom so appreciated the surprise birthday party that his Keeping Up with the Kardashians wife threw him that he couldn't stop crying by the end of the evening. According to the latest gossip news updates, Khloe Kardashian even put on a bit of a show -- supposedly twerking to Tyga's "Rack City" -- for her still recovering husband. Despite her renewed interest in Odom's well-being, Khloe is said to still be dating her Houston Rockets boyfriend, James Harden, who is supposedly helping the reality star deal with the stress of trying to nurse Lamar back to health.
He may have been on death's door just a few short weeks ago, but that reportedly didn't stop Khloe Kardashian from setting Lamar Odom's pulse racing during his recent birthday party.
The secret eyewitness to the Cedars-Sinai dance party told the Hollywood Life that Khloe couldn't help but give Lamar at bit of a show during their birthday get together:
"They don't want to get Lamar too excited. He still recovering, and too much excitement isn't what his doctors want.
"But they did play a few of his favorite songs, including 'Rack City' by Tyga. As soon as it came on, out of nowhere, Khloe playfully twerked for him. Just for a quick second -- to make the mood less somber.
"Khloe just wanted to bring a little life to him and decided giving him a little shake would do the trick. All things considered, Lamar's a very lucky man."
Of course, Lamar isn't so lucky to have his wife forsake all others as their wedding vows no doubt included.
A second insider tells Hollywood Life that Khloe and her boyfriend, James Harden, still get together for some one-on-one time whenever they have the opportunity:
"James has a few days off after the Clippers game on Saturday and they are definitely going to be hanging out with each other and may even try to hit up dinner but most likely will stay in to avoid the paps.
"Khloe really wants to have a fun stress free weekend with all that is going on with birthday parties, Lamar in the hospital and all that. What she definitely needs is a Netflix and Chill night with James and that is going to happen."
While Khloe has received a great deal of criticism for not devoting herself solely to seeing Lamar through this very difficult time, a family friends points out in the latest November 15, issue of Star that she has done more than was required of her given how close they were to finalizing their divorce at the time of Odom's incident:
"Khloe's put life on hold for the man who broke her heart, and now she's seen as the bad guy?"
What do you think of the way Khloe Kardashian has handled Lamar Odom's health scare?
Should she have put her relationship with James Harden on hold until her husband is at least out of the hospital?
Or, has Khloe already gone above and beyond in caring for her ex after he nearly killed himself while partying with prostitutes?
