Although they have done their best to appear accepting of Bruce's transgender transformation into reality TV superstar, Caitlyn Jenner, Keeping Up with the Kardashians' cast members Kourtney and Khloe K are said to have a real problem with the former stepfather's becoming a woman. According to the latest gossip news updates, Khloe refers to Caitlyn's transition as a "huge loss" in her new book, while Kourtney has reportedly all but banned the former Olympian from attending her kids' upcoming birthday party due to the way Jenner looks. Meanwhile, Caitlyn's biological daughter, Kylie, claims that she now prefers her father as Caitlyn.
While the Kardashian side of the family has tried to appear as though they don't find anything wrong with Caitlyn Jenner's transgender transition, rumors persist that her former stepdaughters, Kourtney and Khloe, are not as accepting as the would have everyone believe.
One source in the latest November 15, issue of OK! Magazine claims that Kourtney decided not to invite Caitlyn to a birthday party for her sons, Mason and Reign, because she thought that being exposed to Jenner's new appearance would have a detrimental effect on the children:
"Mason is already dealing with his dad being gone...she thinks meeting Caitlyn would be especially confusing for [him].
"He's turning six, so he's old enough to remember Bruce...[she] doesn't want him traumatized."
As offensive as that seems, Khloe is said to say even uglier things about Caitlyn in her new memoir, Strong Looks Better Naked.
According to OK!, Khloe takes direct aim at her stepdad's decision to transition in her new her family tell-all:
"I had lost my father, and now I was losing Bruce.
"Bruce wanted to be a woman and I could only imagine the battle raging inside of his soul. My heart went out to him.
"But, I saw the transformation as a huge loss."
Regardless of whether Caitlyn's former stepdaughters really understand what she is going through or not, Kylie Jenner recently explained that she actually prefers spending time with her father now that he's become a woman (via Mirror):
"It was really hard for me in the beginning, but now it's much easier. It's 'she' now, but it was 'he' who always had this secret.
"Now she's just free and way happier, and it makes me feel more comfortable. It's cool. She's the same person -- she just looks different."
