Chris D’Elia Talks ‘Undateable Live’ with Bridgit Mendler: New Episode Spoilers

Spoiler Alert: Tonight, NBC’s Undateable is back with another live episode. The show which was largely ignored by critics and viewers for years, has hit its stride as a weekly comedy. The cast, including comedian Chris D’Elia and former Good Luck Charlie star, Bridgit Mendler, shine in front of a live audience. Now, D’elia is opening up about the transition to live TV.

The official plot description of tonight’s all new episode of Undateable Live, reads:

“A confident man tries to instill dating skills in a group of romantically challenged friends.”

Recently, Undateable star Chris D’Elia spoke to Splitsider about what it is like going Live:

“We try to get a script way earlier, but then it’s basically a trial-by-error process. We see what jokes work and what jokes don’t work, and we’re in much more of a crunch time, but we try to get more of a script finalized by Thursday. Sometimes we don’t -- sometimes it doesn’t get finalized until the day of. It’s pretty hectic and crazy, but it’s a lot of fun.”

The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Truth Be Told, titled “Psychic Chicken.” reads:

“Mixed-faith couple Mitch and Tracy struggle to teach their daughter about religion and life's biggest questions. Meanwhile, Mitch's sister arrives for dinner with her psychic boyfriend, and Angie and Russell clash over God.”
