Despite Channing Tatum doing his best to convince the world that Magic Mike's wife is super-mom, Jenna Dewan is said to be less the thrilled about the possibility of a second pregnancy. According to the latest gossip news updates, the 21 Jump Street actor wants nothing more than to have another baby with the Step Up star. Word has it that, however, that Jenna does all the child rearing herself, and the thought of having another baby to take care in addition to her daughter, Everly, is just more than she can bear.
Although she has had nothing but the nicest things to say about motherhood, it's now being said that Jenna Dewan isn't at all ready to have another baby with Channing Tatum.
One source in the latest November 15, issue of OK! Magazine claims that Jenna is sometime so overwhelmed from virtually taking care of their baby all by herself when Channing is away that a second child just seems like too big a task to even consider taking on at this time:
"Channing's work takes him a away a lot, and she doesn't rely on hired help, so it would just be her caring for the kids."
While Channing didn't exactly admit to letting Jenna raise their baby daughter on her own, Magic Mike told Vanity Fair that he was completely ill-prepared when they first took Everly home from the hospital that he literally didn't know what to do (via Hollywood Life):
"It was crazy. You feel helpless. We like to think of ourselves as big, strong men, and we could handle whatever situation.
"It's scary. You made this thing and have to bring it into the world together. You think people are going to be there, but ultimately you just have each other. Knock on wood, everything goes well, now you have a baby.
"They're like, 'Okay, here you go.' They hand it to you, and you're like, 'Uh, wait a minute. Aren't you guys going to come home with us and make sure we're not screwing this thing up?'"
It might be true that she and Channing didn't exactly know what they were getting into the first time around, but Jenna Dewan dispelled all notions that she is unready for another child in her interview In Touch last week:
"Motherhood changed me. Everything I do, I think or my daughter first. It's amazing. Every day there is a new milestone.
"We definitely want to have another, we're just not sure when!"
What do you think about the tabloids' obsession with trying to make Jenna Dewan look bad?
Is it about time that the gossip magazine found some other happy Hollywood couple to harass?
Or, should OK! and Star just keep making things up until they finally land on something that might be close to true?
