Talented Hollywood oddball James Franco sent the Internet into a tailspin when he recently posted a selfie to Instagram that seemed to feature a prominent new neck tattoo of none other the Harry Potter actress, Emma Watson. While the hot Hermione homage had some folks wondering if the Pineapple Express madman was obsessed with is This Is the End costar, the artist behind the ink explains that just isn't the case. According to the latest gossip news updates, Emma's portrait was actually photoshopped onto Franco's neck after the fact -- hence all the other strange tats in the photograph. Thankfully Watson is said to currently be dating new boyfriend, Roberto Aguirre, and is no way attached to Franco.
Many of his Instagram followers were wondering if James Franco had finally lost his mind when he loaded a pic that seemed to feature a giant tattoo of Emma Watson situated prominently on the 37-year-old actor's neck.
Not allowing too much time to let the Halloween mystery build, however, Cheyenne Randall, told MTV News that she was actually the one that chose to give Franco the over-the-top Hermione piece:
"James and I work together on these images from time to time.
"Previously I did a Lana Del Rey image of him, and a wheat paste of the same image a while back. I think it's safe to say we have a mutual respect for each other's craft.
"This time around I was looking for another girl to be his love in this fictitious scenario, and just happened to recently watch This is the End with Emma in it...I just went with it, and it fit well. 'Emma' really is the perfect name for tattoo script."
Fortunately, Emma Watson is said to be dating her former Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire costar Roberto Aguirre, 27, instead of Franco.
One eyewitness to the couple's recent lunch date in Los Feliz, claims in the latest November 9, issue of Star that it was easy to tell that Emma was totally enamored with Roberto as they dined together at Little Dom's October 6:
"They couldn't take their eyes off each other.
"At one point, Emma reached across the table to caress Roberto's face...It was adorable."
