Madonna NOT Dating Sean Penn Claims Daughter Dylan?

When asked about her father's supposed new love affair with Madonna last week, Dylan Penn claimed that the Mystic River Oscar winner was really just a fan of the Material Girl's work. According to the latest gossip news updates, however, the formerly married couple recently spent their down time drinking together in Santa Monica. This latest outing coupled with Sean Penn's recent appearance at her Madison Square Garden concert and Madonna's waxing poetic about their relationship on stage days later has everyone wondering if the popstar and her ex-husband won't soon officially be getting back together.

Just last week Dylan Penn was seemingly doing her best to throw the media of the scent of her father's new romance with Madonna -- telling People magazine that as far as she could tell Sean Penn was just an avid fan of 80s pop music:

"I think he just really admires her work.

"They're just really good friends and [I think] it's sweet that they can have this relationship."

Sean and Madonna must be pretty good friends for the popstar to be spending the brief break she has between the North American and European legs of her Rebel Heart world tour with her ex-husband.

The eyewitness that Page Six supposedly spoke to claims to have seen Penn and his first wife at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica only days ago:

"They were both at the hotel, hanging at the bar area. They were just kicking it."

Before Dylan might suggest that Sean and Madonna were only meeting to discuss her back catalog of pop hits, the Material Girl already explained to her fans at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn earlier this month, that Penn has never really been a big fan of what she does professionally (via Daily Mail):

"I did a show at Madison Square Garden the other night if you heard about it. And my ex-husband was there! Could you imagine?

"Anyway, after the show he wrote me a letter and said he finally appreciates my art."

Despite their differing taste in music, an inside source in the latest November 9, issue of Life & Style claims that as they enter their late 50s Sean and Madonna are hoping they have finally found a lasting love affair:

"Madonna and Sean have never stopped loving each other.

"She thinks he's given up his hard-drinking, wild ways, and she's forgiving him for the heartache he caused her.

"He hopes they'll grow old together."

What do you think about Sean Penn and Madonna possibly getting back together?

Would that be the greatest things to happen since Phil Collins announced he was coming out of retirement?

Or, are you just confused at who all this middle aged people even are?

Let us hear what you have to say about it in the comment field below.
