Shortly after the supermarket tabloids abandoned their attempts to convince the world that Amal Alamuddin was pregnant, they started circulating rumors that George Clooney's wife absolutely hates all his friends -- especially Cindy Crawford. According to the latest gossip news updates, Amal's refusal to even try to get along with Clooney's old friend has some folks wondering if Batman and his bride aren't soon headed for divorce.
Yet again the gossip magazines are claiming that Amal Alamuddin has a real problem with the wife of George Clooney's business partner Rande Gerber, Cindy Crawford.
One source in the latest November 9, issue of OK! Magazine claims that things came to a head during a recent trip Cabo when Amal refused to play nice with the retired supermodel:
"George and Rande arranged for a spa date for their wives, and Amal refused to go. She said she had a headache, but no one bought the excuse.
"Cindy's been a good sport and tried to win Amal over, but it's been an uphill battle. Cindy would rather chat about something lighter than forgiven affairs...[but Amal] doesn't make an effort to be interested in much else."
As exciting as it might be to believe that Amal's job as an international lawyer makes her practically incapable of talking about anything that isn't happening in the Armenia or the Maldives, Cindy Crawford explained to People magazine during her Becoming Cindy book launch in Miami that nothing could be further from the truth:
"I think one of the things I love about Amal is that she's not only interesting - she's very interesting to talk to -- but she's also interested in your world as well.
"She can talk to my kids about their thing, or she'll talk to me about my book or my business...She's interested in my life, just like I'm interested in her life."
