Tonight, The CW’s hit series The Flash is back with an all new episode, “The Fury of Firestorm.” Last week, we saw shades of Deathstorm, now that Martian Stein (Victor Garber) is missing his better half, Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell). Now, we will see a new hero join Stein in the battle, Jax Jackson. Check out the plot preview below for a look at tonight’s new episode and the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow spin-off character.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of The Flash, titled “The Fury of Firestorm,” reads:
“Barry and the team look for another Firestorm match for Dr. Stein, but when Caitlin meets Jefferson ‘Jax’ Jackson she questions whether he is the right match. Meanwhile, Iris surprises Joe; and Barry and Patty grow closer.”
Grant Gustin recently spoke to TVLine about the hunt to find Doc Stein a new Firestorm match:
“We need to find someone to pair him with to make his body whole again. So we’re trying to find a compatible match, but he’s declining quickly and things don’t go as smoothly as everyone would like them to go.”
Victor Garber went on to explain just how the dire straits that Dr. Stein has found himself in, adding:
“The shock for all of us was that we didn’t know that, because of his metabolic problem, he wouldn’t exist without being able to be conjoined with another person.”
