Despite initial reports that Lamar Odom was on the mend after being found unconcise in a Las Vegas brothel last week, is appears the former NBA star has taken a turn for the worse. According to the latest gossip news updates, Khloe Kardashian's husband had two emergency surgeries Thursday to address escalating issue with in his chest. Upon hearing the news, many of those closest to Lamar are claiming that it's his reality TV wife and her money obsessed Keeping Up with the Kardashian clan who are really responsible for Odom's current condition.
Although it was reported that Lamar Odom was both awake and speaking just days after being found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel, it now seems that the former pro-baller is in critical condition once again.
After having two emergency surgeries Thursday concerning issues in Odom's chest, a family insider tells Us Weekly that it is sadly starting to appear once again like Lamar might not make it:
"Lamar is not out of the woods. I think it's still really touch-and-go.
"Khloe is not really responding to friends who've reached out; I think she's just in a bubble with her family right now."
It's doubtful that Lamar's old friends like Alan Barcoff, who has been known Odom for over 16-years, want to hear anything Khloe Kardashian has to say about her husband anyways.
In the latest November 2, issue of In Touch, Barcoff insists that it was Khloe and her family's callously calculated actions that drove Lamar to the edge in the first place:
"They'll do anything for publicity. They don't care who they hurt, who they use. I just think they are there [with Lamar] because it's more publicity for them and their show.
"They're going to milk this for all it's worth. Lamar was a good guy, He was never one to seek the spotlight; he just liked playing basketball.
"Then the Kardashians sucked him in."
