Although Khloe Kardashian once talked about always having a special place in her heart for ex-husband, Lamar Odom, it seems that she might be ready to change her mind. According to the latest gossip news updates, the former pro-baller practically attacked the Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star on her way to spin class last week. Word has it that Lamar was hoping to confront Khloe about her dating James Harden. Ironically, it was Khloe who did all the confronting on this week's episode of I Am Cait, however -- asking Caitlyn Jenner where she got off bad mouthing her mom, Kris.
Lamar Odom may have always been thought of as a gentle giant before now, that all changed last Thursday when he suddenly showed up outside of Khloe Kardashian's spin class to presumably talk about his ex-wife's new boyfriend, James Harden.
One source in the latest August 31, issue of OK! Magazine insists that the old Lamar would have never tried anything like this, but Odom just hasn't been himself since hearing about Khloe's dating his former peer:
"It's not like him to get angry like that.
"He's done some pretty stupid things in the past, but he's not violent or ill-tempered.
"He was outraged and couldn't contain it...Ever since Lamar heard Khloe had fallen for James, he's been letting his rage fester."
An insider that Perez Hilton spoke to claimed that Kim has convinced her sister to keep some extra protection around just in case Lamar's rage boils over once again:
"It made Khloé first shocked and then scared that Lamar was waiting outside the studio.
"Kim is encouraging her to get a bodyguard. She told Khloé that his behavior is inappropriate, and she needs to nip it in the bud before it escalates.
"Kim says that there's no reasoning with Lamar right now, so it's better to be safe than sorry."
Coincidentally that is exactly what Khloe said about Caitlyn Jenner following their confrontation on I Am Cait earlier this week.
After a heated discussion in which both strong-willed women failed to really cede to the other's point, Khloe decided that it was better that they just agree to disagree, instead of ruining their relationship trying to win an impossible argument (via Radar Online):
"At the end of the day, some things Cait will never understand, and I don't want to fight anymore."
Perhaps, if Lamar Odom could have come to that same understanding, he would have saved everyone another round of further embarrassment.
