Although they seem very much a couple at the moment, word has it that Khloe Kardashian's dating the Rockets' James Harden is really just a big farce. According to the latest gossip news updates, Khloe has secretly been hooking up with her husband, Lamar Odom, behind everyone's back. Even worse -- if the rumors are true, they will presumably send her sister Kim into a tizzy. The Hollywood gossip mill has it that Kanye West's wife is so ready for Khloe to settle down and find love that Kim is insisting that this NBA pro-baller better be the last new boyfriend that her Keeping Up with the Kardashians sister asks her to meet.
It seems pretty hard to believe, given how often they have been seem together lately, that Khloe Kardashian has no real interest in James Harden, but that might be exactly what the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star wants you to think.
One source in the latest August 3, issue of Star magazine, claims that Khloe has been using her relationship with Harden all along as a smokescreen to hide what is really going on behind the scenes between her and Lamar:
"James was a cover-up...Khloe has made is seem like she is all about partying with him, but in reality, she was planning her meetup with Lamar.
"They 100 percent hooked up...Lamar's in a much better place now, both physically and mentally."
According to the informant, Khloe thinks the world of James, but Lamar's getting his life back on track feels like the answer to her prayers:
"She likes him a lot and thinks he is a great guy, but Lamar has always been on the back of her mind.
"They've been through so much, both together and apart... at the end of the day, they've ever stopped loving each other."
Unfortunately, the source that HollywoodLife spoke to insists that a clueless Kim has decided that James Harden -- not Lamar Odem -- should be the man that Khloe settles down with in the near future.
At Kylie Jenner's birthday party two days ago, Mrs. West was said to have taken Khloe aside to told her pointblank that she thinks that a life as James' wife should be her goal for the time being:
"Kim took Khloe's hand, looked up in the sky and said, 'Please let this man be the one for my sister.'
"Kim then told Khloe that she doesn't want to meet anymore boyfriends of hers after this.
"She was stern with Khloe, and also told her life isn't one big party."
