After years of working hard at his ladies' man reputation it seems that Scottish heartthrob Gerard Butler is finally ready to settle down. According to the latest gossip news updates, the 300 actor's new girlfriend, Morgan Brown, has him seriously thinking about marriage for the first time in his life. While Butler has yet to make any official announcements regarding an engagement -- their recent over-the-top PDA hopefully means we won't have to wait too much longer.
At 45-years-old it was starting to look like Gerald Butler has resigned himself to the single life -- much like Jared Leto or Leonardo DiCaprio -- choosing instead to date one unbelievable knockout after another.
One source in the latest November 2, issue of OK! Magazine claims, however, that Gerry is a new man after having met Morgan Brown earlier this year in Malibu and is now thinking it might be time to start shopping for a ring:
"Gerard loves the chase and usually gets bored quickly, but Morgan is different.
"He realizes that sharing his life, not just his bed, is what's important...Fir once, he can see himself committing."
While they couldn't provide much insight into how serious things may or may not be between Gerry and Morgan, the Daily Mail did see that the couple were still very much attracted to one another as they groped each other on the beaches of Malibu last week:
"The Dracula 2000 actor looked like he was having a great time as he got very hands on as they made the most of their time together in the California beauty spot.
"With plenty of time to on his hands thanks to his current schedule, the hunk decided the ideal way to spend it was by grappling with his girlfriend as they enjoyed the surf lapping around their ankles."
