After spending the beginning of 2014 womanizing his way from one woman to the next, Gerard Butler seemingly found love this summer in a new girlfriend, Morgan Brown. And now he is talking about settling down. Although the 300 actor didn't mention who he planned to share it with, the 45-year-old sex-symbol has confirmed that he is looking to buy a new home in his native Scotland. According to the latest gossip news updates, Gerry isn't just looking for any home in the Highlands either; Butler wants his very own castle. With a net worth reportedly well over $35-million, it is no doubt that the Gods of Egypt star can afford any digs he wants. Gerard's Geostorm co-star, Sterling Jerins, is also working on building a nice little nest egg, herself. At $150K, the pay is without a doubt much smaller than Butler's salary, but it still isn't half bad for a few weeks on the 10-year-old's life.
All the single ladies in Malibu may have had their hearts broken when Gerard Butler started seeing interior designer Morgan Brown exclusively, but it turns out it's the Scottish real estate market's dream come true.
Word has it that Gerard has already moved his new girlfriend in to his home in L.A., but now that things are heating up, Butler is talking about settling down into some proper Scottish lodgings.
According to the Daily Record, Gerry's recent return home for a wedding made him finally realize that it was time to get himself a castle of his own:
"I was recently back for a wedding in a castle and walking through the gardens inspired me to get a place like that," he says.
"I made up my mind to do it. Scotland really is where my heart is."
While Gerry's jaw-dropping net worth means he doesn't even have to call his accountant before he signs his new castle paperwork, his Geostorm's Sterling Jerin's may not be there quite yet.
Although the 10-year-old World War Z alum may not be making tens of millions for her big budget participation just yet, TMZ happily reports that she is doing a lot better than most of her fourth grade peers:
"Producers are handing the 10-year-old actress $125K for her role as Hannah in the flick -- she'll also have plenty of privacy off set in her trailer -- one half of a huge Wi-Fi ready 'double-banger,'" they report.
Sure, it's not enough to buy your own castle yet...but just give it 35-years of compounded interest.
