Free-spirited former Playboy playmate Jenny McCarthy may have made the perfect girlfriend for Donnie Wahlberg, but word has it she's hardly shaping up into his idea of the ideal wife. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Blue Bloods actor was hoping they would have a very traditional marriage and is having some difficulties adjusting to the former View panelist's constant push back. Despite Donnie's having supposedly grown tired of the Sirius XM radio DJ's over-the-tops antics, McCarthy is said to be actively campaigning to be the last completely nude centerfold that Playboy ever has. Those closest to them are reportedly starting to wonder if Jenny's combative personality won't soon force Donnie to split.
They almost always seem to be having a good time whenever they are in public together, but behind the scenes Donnie Wahlberg's marriage to Jenny McCarthy is supposedly falling apart.
One source in the latest November, issue of OK! Magazine claims Jenny's fierce independent streak is starting to alienate her supposedly conservative hubby:
"Donnie expects Jenny to behave like a wife, cooking and taking care of the family instead of relying on outside help...But she resists his alpha male act.
"She won't let him be a strong father figure.
According to the informant, Donnie is absolutely fed up with his 42-year-old wife not taking life as seriously as he does:
"When she gets a new tattoo, or dyes her hair on a whim, it drives Donnie crazy...He tells her to act like an adult.
"They are doomed. It's just a matter of time before they split."
If Wahlberg really is looking for his wife to tone it done, Jenny definitely didn't seem to get the message before announcing on her radio show last week that she was hoping against hope to take her clothes off one last time for Playboy (via Huffington Post):
"I would totally be willing to take it all off one more time. Just to say I'll be in the last one.
"[Playboy spreads] really captured that innocence of the women... almost like art. There was nothing that I felt was too embarrassing or gross. And nothing that I'm not proud of today."
