‘Voice’ Blake Shelton Talk Miranda Lambert Divorce Rumors?

Both before and after Blake Shelton announced his marriage to Miranda Lambert was really over, the Voice coach has had to deal with the tabloids spreading rumors about their split day-in and day-out. According to the latest gossip news updates, the country music bad boy is not going to take it anymore. Despite laughing off the talk of his secretly dating fellow reality TV cast member, Gwen Stefani, on Twitter, Shelton has filed a very serious defamation lawsuit against In Touch. The "Sangria" singer seems to have taken especial exception to the accusations that his hard drinking lead to his recent divorce and he is now looking to enter rehab.

While some celebrities seem content to just ignore the ridiculous stories that the supermarket tabloids make up about them and their families, Blake Shelton is fighting back.

For months In Touch printed all kinds of outlandish stories about his marriage to and subsequent divorce from Miranda Lambert -- alleging that Shelton's hard drinking and constant womanizing led to their eventual split.

Now it's being reported by Us Weekly that Shelton's lawyers have filed a $1 million dollar suit for defamation in an attempt to salvage Blake's damaged reputation:

"Mr. Shelton is not in rehab and has no plans to go to rehab, which Bauer would have known had it bothered to contact any of Mr. Shelton's representatives prior to publication of its misleading Rehab Story."

According to a report by TMZ, the lawsuit lists at least five separate storylines that Shelton is insisting were absolutely fabricated out of thin air:

"Blake has hit rock bottom."

"His friends are terrified that he could end up dead at this rate"

"Blake's drinking and womanizing are what helped torpedo his 4-year marriage"

"Mr. Shelton was 'caught' by Ms. Lambert with 'a bunch of naked women' in their home."

"His close friends have talked about an intervention."

It would seem that In Touch may have even learned their lesson as their latest article about Gwen Stefani in the new October 26, issue didn't mention her supposedly secret relationship with Blake even once:

"Her friends are really worried this time. Between divorce and the stress from work, things are really getting to her.

"She hasn't been eating. She's in terrible shape. Everyone in her inner circle fears she's about to have a nervous breakdown."

What do you think about Blake Shelton's lawsuit?
