Spoiler Alert: The campaign to save Constantine worked….well sort of. The CW wasn't able to renew the canceled NBC series, but it was able to bring John Constantine himself, Matt Ryan, to Star City. The chain smoking master of the dark arts, is hoping in Chas’ yellow cab, and making his way to Green Arrow's playground. Oliver Queen will reportedly call on the Dark Justice League to help his team deal with negative effects of using the Lazarus Pit on the long dead Sara Lance (White Canary, Caity Lotz). Now, The CW has released the official plot synopsis for the upcoming guests spot.
Comicbookmovie.com is reporting on the official CW plot synopsis for Season 4, Episode 5 of Arrow, titled “Haunted:”
“MATT RYAN REPRISES HIS ROLE AS JOHN CONSTANTINE ON ARROW -- When things take a turn for the worse with Sara (guest star Caity Lotz), Oliver (Stephen Amell) calls in a favor from an old friend who deals in the mystical, John Constantine (guest star Matt Ryan). John Badham directed the episode written by Brian Ford Sullivan & Oscar Balderrama.”
