UFC fighter Travis Browne made it clear that he and Ronda Rousey's relationship status wasn't in question and said boldly "she's my woman" in an interview.
Rousey's relationship status has been in question for quite some time, but no one had uncovered too much information on whether or not the female fighting superstar had a love life outside the ring. That has obviously been changed and Browne is the lucky man that many men across the United States of America wish they could be.
He revealed his relationship with Rousey in an interview with The MMA Hour and was very adamant about him being together with her rather than dating. Browne also came across a little too aggressive as well, but one can't blame him for trying to be the dominant with the dominance that Rousey shows in the ring.
"Dating is for kids. Over the summer, through all the sh*t that I had to shuffle through, that I had to sift through, Ronda and I started talking throughout the summer and I'll say now that we are together. She's my woman and I'm her man. There's no boyfriend, girlfriend stuff. There's no dating. We're together."
Browne isn't the first UFC fighter that Rousey has dated throughout her career. She also dated Brendan Schaub, who made it clear that she expects her men to take a back seat and bow to her wishes. He explained what it's like to date Rousey during an interview.
"She needs a guy who's gonna take a backseat. She also needs a guy who's gonna say yes, ma'am. Yes, ma'am."
Whether Browne is willing to take that back seat or bow to her wishes is unclear at this point in time, but he definitely seems happy. Perhaps this is just a fling that will end at some point in the future as well.
It will be interesting to follow Rousey and Browne as they move forward in their relationship. Browne has set the stage for the future with his dominance, but will he feel that same way after a few more months? Only time will tell, but this is certainly an intriguing way to mark his territory so to speak.
Expect to hear plenty more about Rousey and Browne in the coming months, although Rousey will dominate the media much more than her "man" will.
