Now that television show has passed the books, the Sixth Season of Game of Thrones is shrouded in mystery. A series of recent set photos and rumors show the return of previously deceased characters.
(((((((CAUTION: SPOILERS AHEAD)))))))
In the wake of one of the best season finales of the entire show, there are a lot of questions that we are left to ponder before the return of Game of Thrones. Is Jon Snow really dead? Did Sansa survive her leap at Winterfell? Will Cersei get her revenge? What the f@%* is going on with Arya's eyes?! The finale was emotional and gut wrenching, and I cannot wait to see what is in store for us with Season 6.
Some light has begun to shed on some of the things that we will see in Season 6. They seem to reveal more than we were anticipating. This is your last chance to not get any spoilers.
Photos and video have both surfaced that show both Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) and Sean Bean (Eddard Stark) on set! Harrington, according to HelloGiggles was spotted at Wimbledon with a Jon Snow hairstyle, and was in Belfast in July when Game of Thrones was filming there. This is in spite of the fact that Stark died in the first season, and Harrington being left for dead at the end of last season. Is this a coincidence? I think not. But these aren't the only two characters who will be appearing in the next season.
According to DarkHorizons, some images have surfaced from the set in Pensicola, Spain. they show Sibel Kekilli (Shae) with Conleth Hill (Lord Varys) with the creator of the show. Not only that but she is also staying in a hotel in Spain that is set aside for cast members. Shae was strangled to death by Tyrion during the Season 4 finale.
Something fishy is happening on the set of Game of Thrones. It appears as though we will most definitely be seeing some past dead characters reappear on the show. In what capacity we will see them is a complete other story. Could they find a way to make a few characters return to the show soon? We will just have to wait and see when Game of Thrones Season 6 debuts on HBO on hopefully sometime in April of 2016.
