Caitlyn Jenner has enjoyed near unanimous supports ever since announcing her intension to transition into a women in an interview with Dianne Sawyer earlier this year. According to the latest gossip news updates, now that some of that attention has become less than positive, however, the former Olympian would happily fade from the limelight for the time being. Word has it that the I Am Cait's star is still reeling from her feud with Ellen DeGeneres, while her TV show faces possible cancellation as the ratings continue to plummet. But on the upside, it looks like the reality TV star won't be facing any criminal charges related to the car accident she was involved in earlier this year.
When Caitlyn first announced her intentions to transition into a woman, she was met with an overwhelming amount of love and support, but Jenner supposedly noticed a sea change after she expressed her less than PC views on gay marriage to Ellen DeGeneres.
One source in the latest October 5, issue of OK! Magazine claims that now that she is feeling a little blowback, Caitlyn isn't so sure that she wants to be a spokeswomen for the LGBTQ community anymore:
"Caitlyn's exhausted. She's grateful for all the love, but she never wanted to be the poster girls for LBGT issues.
"Everything she says and does is analyzed and picked over...She's getting tired of it. Caitlyn was devastated by the ratings drop and worries the show won't get renewed."
According to the informant, Jenner was especially upset by Ellen DeGeneres going around and pointing out to everyone that what she said about gay marriage on the comedian's talk show may not have been 100 percent LGBT friendly:
"The whole incident made it clear that as much as the public loves her, they can turn on her in an instant.
"And she felt like Ellen threw her under the bus...She says she has been near tears every day since! What started out as a great time for her has gone all wrong."
The creators of South Park's certainly didn't pull many punches as they too took aim at Caitlyn in this week's episode.
As Us Weekly reports, a cartoon version of Caitlyn Jenner was seen running down not one but two different innocent pedestrians in an episode that also saw a version on Donald Trump sexed to death by an equally transgendered Mr. Garrison:
"In what appeared to be a very close-to-the-bone comparison with the KUWTK star's car accident back in February, which left a driver dead, Jenner is seen plowing into a pedestrian, and taking off without a care in the world."
Much like in the cartoon it appears that Jenner will face no legal repercussions for her involvement in a car accident that left another driver dead as TMZ reports that Caitlyn isn't likely to be charged with any crime:
"Caitlyn Jenner will not be prosecuted for vehicular manslaughter in February's fatal PCH car crash.
"The people assigned to review the case have determined Jenner's conduct was negligent, but not criminal. The people making the decision are also relying on the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept., which investigated and came up."
What do you think about Caitlyn Jenner?
Is she a flawed hero for the LGBTQ community?
Or, is Jenner just another Hollywood star that has somehow managed to get away with murder?
