While they were filming Equals together, the supermarket tabloids often claimed that Kristen Stewart was dating her costar, Nick Hoult, and to hear the Twilight star tell it at times it probably felt like she was. According to the latest gossip news updates, K Stew knew going into the movie that it would conjure up feelings from her first epic romance with ex-boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. Meanwhile, it's also rumored that FKA Twigs' predecessor is seeing no less than three different psychiatrists to help her process all the feelings she has about becoming a movie star.
Despite what you might think about Kristen Stewart, she took her relationship with Robert Pattinson and the feeling that she had for him very seriously while they were dating.
In a recent conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, K Stew admitted that she almost did wind up making Equals with Nick Hoult because she knew it would cause her to relive that breakup all over again (via Elle):
"One of the reasons I was so intimidated by this movie is because I was like, 'This is gonna hurt.'
"If we do this right it's so basic, it's so fundamental, it's so young. Obviously, Nick (Hoult) and I are 25.
"We're still very close to our first loves. It was a painful movie to make in every way. It was exuberant, cathartic and at the same time almost too self-reflective."
Of course, Kristen is said to have plenty of professional help dealing with any and all her feelings resulting from the breakup or anything else in her life.
One source in the September 21, issue of Star magazine claims that K Stew has not one but three different analysts she visits to keep her life in order:
"She considers therapy just part of good health. She's religious about her appointments and will even fly her therapist out to a movie set!
"Her friends think it's way overboard, but Kristen doesn't care. She says she has a lot of issues and that therapy keeps her balanced."
What do you think about Kristen Stewart claiming that she almost turned down a role because it hit a little too close to home?
Does it prove her dedication as an actress that she still went on to take the part in Equals?
Or, does it just prove that she is a real drama queen to have turned getting cast in a movie into a psychological dilemma?
