While there is still no news as to what exactly prompted Voice judge Gwen Stefani to decide to divorce Gavin Rossdale, word has it that the split was a long time coming. According to the latest gossip news updates, Gwen has had problems with her husband cheating long before they ever brought kids into the relationship. Word has it that the Bush bad boy was ever caught redhanded fooling around with Travis Barker's ex, Shanna Moakler, when No Doubt was touring with Blink 182 way back in 2004.
Although there has been little put forth as to why Gwen Stefani seemed to suddenly kick her husband of 13-years, Gavin Rossdale, to the curb, there has been no shortage of speculation that it had something to do with the British rocker's reported tendency to continue to play the field.
One source in the latest September 21, issue of Star magazine insists that Rossdale even once had the bad manners of cheating with Travis Barker's then girlfriend, Shanna Moakler, when No Doubt and Blink 182 were on tour together back in 2004:
"Word is that they were hooking up right under Gwen's nose. Friends had warned her about his bad-boy, antics, but she thought he was different.
"When Gwen found out he was cheating with Shanna, she was rightly furious. Gwen was so destroyed by the whole thing that even seeing Travis made her relive the nightmare."
Whatever her exact reasons for wanting out of that marriage, Gwen is said to be fast moving on thanks to a rumored love affair with fellow divorced Voice judge, Blake Shelton.
The behind-the-scenes insider that Life & Style spoke to insisted they weren't ready to take things public, but backstage it's undeniable that something is going on between Gwen and Blake (via DailyMail):
"They're trying to keep it on the down-low, but it's not happening partly because they're all over each other.
"The chemistry between them is off the charts. Everyone on set sees that Blake and Gwen are falling for one another."
Let's hope that things between Gwen and Blake last at least twice as long as they did with Gavin Rossdale.
