Word has it that despite their being married more than 13-years, Gwen Stefani often had issues with her husband, Gavin Rossdale. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Bush frontman was caught cheating with Travis Barker's wife, Shanna Moakler, just two years into his union with the ska singer. But the Voice judge has reportedly put all that behind her now that the No Doubt beauty is getting a divorce. It's said that the Hollaback Girl is even secretly dating fellow cast member Blake Shelton, now that he has split from Miranda Lambert.
While it's pretty obvious given their recent split that Gwen Stefani was having problems in her marriage to Gavin Rossdale, stories are starting to now surface that seem to suggest that they have always had serious issues as a couple.
One source in the latest September 21, issue of OK! Magazine claims that Gavin was even caught cheating on Gwen with Blink 182 groupie turned Travis Barker baby momma, Shannon Barker, way back in 2004:
"Gwen put a stop to it as soon as she found out and went about and beyond to make sure she didn't bump into Shanna...even seeing Travis when Shanna wasn't around reminded her of the affair.
"She knew plenty about the rock-star life, but she didn't believe Gavin was like that."
According to the informant, it took Gwen having to mature and find confidence as her own women, before she was able to finally get up the courage to get rid of Gavin:
"On the outside, Gwen seems confident, but she was always insecure when it came to Gavin...She never thought she could get someone better than him."
Although it seems a little tragic that it supposedly took more than a decade to realize she deserves better than Rossdale, an onset insider told Life & Style that Gwen appears to have found it in fellow Voice judge, Blake Shelton.
The behind-the-scenes spy claims that it's as plain to see as one of Pharrell's oversized hats that Gwen and Blake are falling for one another (via HollywodLife):
"They're trying to keep it on the down-low, but it's not happening - partly because they're all over each other.
"The chemistry between them is off the charts. Everyone on set sees that Blake and Gwen are falling for one another."
The TV show source explains that given his recent divorce from Miranda Lambert, Blake is leaning on Gwen just as much as she is counting on him for support:
"Gwen and Blake are getting through this together by making each other laugh. Their friendship has blossomed through both their marital issues that they're dealing with.
"They have confided in each other in a way they really can't with others because they both know how it feels being a celeb and going through stuff like this. They are a great support system for each other."
