Britney Spears’ Dad Bans Dating after Charlie Ebersol Split? [NEWS]

It seems that Britney Spears's dad, Jamie, takes his job as his daughter's conservator very seriously. According to the latest gossip news updates, Spears has banned his daughter from dating anyone new in the wake of her recent breakup from Charlie Ebersol. Word has it that Britney's dad is convinced that she needs to spend at least six-months between relationships, much to his daughter's chagrin. For his part, Britney's ex-husband, Kevin Federline, says he doesn't care who the "Toxic" singer dates, just as long as it doesn't have any negative effects on his kids.

Apparently, Charlie Ebersol might have been Britney Spears last shot at love for the time being, as her father, Jamie, is said to be using his power as her conservator to forbid her from dating someone new.

One source in the latest September 14, issue of OK! Magazine, claims that the 63-year-old Spears wants his little girl to at least take the next six-months to just focus on herself, instead of trying to find a new boyfriend:

"[Britney] throws everything into relationships before they have a chance to grow -- and the guy runs away.

"Jamie wants her to rebuild her confidence after breaking up with Charlie [Ebersol], while Britney wants to find a man right away.

"She pushes her dad every day, saying that a new guy will help her forget about Charlie."

Despite the claims that Britney is dying to find a new man, Spears seemed to find the mere thought of men as a species contemptuous during her concert in Las Vegas the other night.

In a fan's video recently posted to Instagram, Britney shows plenty of love to the ladies in the audience, before telling the fellas where they can all go:

"Look how beautiful the girls are.

"Men, frankly, can suck my f*cking toe, but the girls...I love you."

Regardless of how exacting her father may be when it comes to Britney's love life, her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, is much easier to please.

In a recent interview with People, the backup dancer turned EDM DJ explained that as long as his kids are her number one priority, he couldn't care less who Britney decides to date:

"It doesn't matter to me as long as it doesn't affect the kids.

"If she's happy, the boys are happy and that's fine.

"That's all you can really wish for anybody: happiness."
