Kelly Rutherford NOT Husband to Blame for Losing Kids? [NEWS]

In the weeks following the Courts decision to send her children back to their father, Kelly Rutherford has been doing anything in her power to convince the public that her son and daughter should be with her on a more permanent basis. According to the latest gossip news updates, however, the Gossip Girl is really her own worst enemy and has sabotaged things for herself time and again with her own bad behavior. Word has it that the only reason her ex, Daniel Giersch, had his visa denied in the US, which ultimately led to his moving their kids, Hermes and Helena, with him to Monaco, was because Rutherford often called the State Department alleging that the German businessman was an international drug and arms dealer. Giersch lawyer also insists that while Kelly practically kidnapped his kids this summer, her ex-husband has never actually tried to keep Rutherford away from her children.

From the moment she was ordered to return her children to their father in Monaco, Hollywood actress Kelly Rutherford has blamed both her ex-husband and the courts for cruelly separating from her children.

During a dramatic interview with the NY Post, Kelly claimed that Giersch was trying to destroy her connection to the kids, and the courts were helping him do it:

"It's just been really hard being up against someone who has a lot of money.

"I think the father is trying to alienate us from each other. I want them to know their father.'

"No one really knows what he does for a living.''

Daniel's lawyer, Ira Carr, explains in the latest September 7, issue of OK! Magazine that it's those kind of provocative statements -- just like the claims that Kelly supposedly made to the State Department about his client being an arms and drug dealer -- that have brought about the current custody arrangement:

"The problem is, because of the allegations she has made, if he were to come here, he could potentially be detained until it gets sorted out, so it would be difficult."

According to Carr, Giersch has also made a consistent effort to shield their children from the trauma of the custody battle, while Rutherford has bragged about how involved she keeps the children in her struggle to win sole custody:

"[My client] has never talked about it with his kids.

"And he has never sought to deprive her of time with them.

"He's done everything possible to abide by the [ruling]."

Let's hope that no matter who's ultimately to blame for how bad thing have gotten that Kelly and Daniel can soon work things out for the good of their two children.
