Everyone that interviews Jordin Sparks might still want to talk about her split from former fiancé and "Wiggle" singer, Jason Derulo, but word has it that she would rather talk about anything but. According to the latest gossip news updates, Sparks took umbrage with Billboard's trying to use her relationship with Derulo to draw attention to their article about her new album. Word has it that Jordin is far happier with new boyfriend, Sage the Gemini, anyways. While they are not officially engaged, Sparks recently admitted that she was already thinking about getting married.
With a new love in her life and new album coming out, Jordin Sparks is a little perplexed at why everyone still seems so obsessed with her breakup from Jason Durelo.
After Sparks went so far as to jokingly suggest Billboard retitle their latest article about her, Jordin found herself telling People just why she thought the magazine's recent headline touting there split from last year was a little inappropriate:
"One thing is the breakup was a part of my story, and that's no problem -- if someone asks me a question that is fine.
"But they were interviewing me about my new album, and then that's the headline that they use.
"Really...it's been a year, so let's get past that. That's all I was saying."
Despite the media's seeming obsession with Derulo, Sparks seems much happier with her new man, Sage the Gemini.
In the latest September 7, issue of OK! Magazine, Jordin talks about their relationship as satisfying her mind body and soul:
