While it may not have made much of a difference to her this time last year, when Ashlee Simpson was also rail thin and loving life, Daisy Duke's little sister is said to be too upset with Jessica's supposed obsession with weight loss. According to the latest gossip news updates, Evan Ross' new bride thinks that the former sex-symbol is working out so much that she is starting to more resemble a drag queen than a bikini model. Meanwhile, the Simpson's father has filed a suit claiming that agent Jeffery Bowler tried to extort his family for $12 million dollars in relation to failed cosmetic line from several years back.
Everyone may have been amazed at Jessica Simpson's shedding all her infamous baby weight to get her body back into the svelte shape it was once known for, but her sister, Ashlee now supposedly feels like enough is enough.
One source in the latest August 31, issue of OK! Magazine claims that Ashlee thinks that it's high past time that her big sis took a break from her health nut habits and started living life again:
"Jess is so rigid about her diet, all she'll eat is steamed or raw veggies and grilled fish or chicken.
"Ashlee thinks Jessica is getting so muscular she's starting to look like a drag queen.
Of course, the insider mentions that Ashlee really began to develop her issues with Jess's eating habits only after she started packing on a few new pounds herself:
"When Ashlee was pregnant, Jess nagged her about her food."
His daughters may have the luxury of focusing solely on their battle with the bulge, but Joe Simpson is having to fight for $12 million in California court.
According to Page Six, Simpson alleges that Jeffery Bowler is trying to intimidate him into handing over a fortune for his work on a project that untimely never came to fruition:
"Jessica Simpson's father is suing a California man, claiming he tried to extort $12 million from his family over the multimillion-dollar sale of his daughter's retail brand.
"Joe Simpson admits that agent Jeffrey Bowler tried to put together an endorsement deal in 2010 for a makeup-products line, but says it 'died on the vine.'"
