Canceled ‘Constantine’ CW Crossover: Matt Ryan Joins ‘Arrow” Season 4 Cast as Hellblazer

Constantine lives! The character from canceled NBC series will be coming to Arrow. The Hellblazer played by Matt Ryan will be joining Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow in the fourth season of the hit CW series.

It is official, John Constantine will chain smoking his way to The CW’s Arrow.

Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim recently released a statement to the press about upcoming crossover event (via TV Guide):

"We are thrilled to have Matt Ryan reprise the role of John Constantine on an upcoming episode of Arrow. Matt is an incredibly talented actor and his portrayal of this beloved character was always something we admired. The introduction of magic and mysticism on the show this season has provided a truly organic opportunity for us to bring John Constantine to Arrow and the CW's DC universe. It will be a well-deserved tip of the hat to all the Constantine fans who were so incredibly supportive of that series."

Matt Ryan took to Twitter to thank everyone who helped make the Constantine & Arrow crossover a reality:
