Taylor Swift Says Jay Z Key to Kanye West Friendship; Sings for 'Fuller House'?

When a boozed up Kanye West took the microphone from Taylor Swift and the MTV Video Music Awards way back when, it couldn't have been more apparent to the 1989 singer that Yeezus couldn't respect her less as an artist. According to the latest gossip news updates, once Jay Z was able to get in there and work his hip-hop magic, however, Calvin Harris' girlfriend and the College Dropout mastermind became fast friends. It seems that Full House alum and current Fuller House cast member, Candace Burke, may even be a bigger fan of the "Bad Blood" beauty than Mr. Kim Kardashian. During a recent interview, Burke basically begged Swift to take a break from whatever she was doing to come down and record the theme song for her new Netflix TV show.

Sure there may have been no love lost between Taylor Swift and Kanye West when, back in 2009, the self-proclaimed genius inturupted her acceptance speech to declare that Beyoncé was the one who really deserved Swift's award.

At that time, it seemed like the two pop culture powerhouses were destined to feud both publicly and privately for the rest of their days, but thankfully, Jay Z was determined to turn things around between his two very talented friends.

In the latest issue of Vanity Fair, Swift explains that it looked like her relationship with Kanye was stuck in and endless feedback loop of her demanding his respect but instead receiving only slights, until Jay Z entered the situation (via Billboard):

"I feel like I wasn't ready to be friends with [West] until I felt like he had some sort of respect for me, and he wasn't ready to be friends with me until he had some sort of respect for me -- so it was the same issue, and we both reached the same place at the same time."

According to Taylor Swift, once Jay Z decided that he wanted the pair to get along, he quickly made the impossible happen like everything else he seems to set his mind to accomplishing:

"I became friends with Jay Z, and I think it was important, for Jay Z, for Kanye and I to get along...And then Kanye and I both reached a place where he would say really nice things about my music and what I've accomplished, and I could ask him how his kid's doing."

For Candace Burke, Jay Z need not even get involved to have her openly heap praise on Swift.

While the former Full House star doesn't seem to have any idea what is going on with the new show's theme song, Candace had no problem begging Taylor to reprise the original series' iconic track for use on the Netflix reboot (via HollywoodLife):

"I don't know what they're doing with the theme song...A remix of the original theme song would be great with some current, cool singer.

"Taylor Swift, are you out there?

"Are you a fan of Full House? I'd like you to sing my theme song."

Well, of course, Taylor Swift is going to be a fan of Full House, Candance -- even Kanye would know that.
