‘Voice’ Blake Shelton Blames Miranda Lambert Divorce on Chris Young? [NEWS]

His former country music bestie can deny it all he likes, but word has it that Blake Shelton would have never have gone through with divorcing Miranda Lambert had it not been for her alleged affair with Chris Young. According to the latest gossip news updates, when The Voice coach heard Carrie Underwood' "Something Bad" collaborator was supposedly cheating on his with "Lonely Eyes" singer, he decided it was over. Meanwhile, Lambert has said to be taking the split rather hard. In addition to supposedly breaking down in concert the other day, Miranda has admittedly turned to caffeine to help her through this difficult time.

Although he has certainly been accused by the supermarket tabloids of having his own bevy of affairs during their four-year marriage, Blake Shelton is supposed to have decided to go through with his plans to divorce Miranda Lambert, when he heard she was rumored to be sleeping with his good friend, Chris Young.

One source in the latest August 10, issue of OK! Magazine claims that as bad as things were, Shelton really didn't decide to walk away until after he heard about Miranda and Chris:

"The final straw for Blake was Miranda's flirtation with Chris Young.

"He hates feeling like an idiot, and he feels that's exactly what Miranda has done to him."

It seems that Chris Young also heard all the rumors about their divorce being all his fault, and according to Huffington Post, the country music singer took to Facebook to let everyone know that he was in no way involved in the breakup:

Thank you Jesus for girlfriends and coffee. Oh and concealer! #wewokeuplikethis

"I don't normally address gossip but in this case I will. My name has been mentioned as a contributing factor in Blake and Miranda's divorce.

"That is totally FALSE. They are both my friends and I would not betray that friendship. Just wanted to clear that up. Love you guys."

Regardless of whatever reasons ultimately led them to split, Miranda Lambert admitted in concert last Tuesday night that she is struggling to get through the traumatic transition the only way she knows how (via CBSNews):

"Well, I've been living off of caffeine and sad songs lately.

"So, we're going to drink some caffeine and sing sad songs."

While it is, of course, sad to hear about Miranda and Blake giving up on their marriage, let's hope that it frees the country music stars up to find the people that will truly make them happy.
