From the moment they made their divorce announcement, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have tried to keep up the appearance that they are still friends, but it seems that may just be part of a their bubbly façade. According to the latest gossip news updates, The Voice cast member is feeling a little less amicable than his ex-wife. Word has it that in addition to ordering that all of Lambert's possessions be removed from his Oklahoma home, Blake has supposedly banned any mention of her name while he's working on the hit NBC TV show as well.
While they may be making sure to keep up the playful banter on Twitter in the days immediately following their divorce announcement, word has it that things as not as friendly between Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert as they might have you believe.
According to Gossip Cop, Blake decided that it was time to embrace the split full-on and ordered all Miranda's belongings to be removed from his home in Oklahoma before he returns:
"Shelton wasn't home at the time her belongings were removed from inside the house, but when a member of his staff informed him that Lambert's stuff was still in his house, he instructed workers to pack her things up and place them outside to be taken away by a U-Haul."
The behind-the-scenes source that Radar Online spoke to claims that Blake has extended the purge to his professional life as well -- supposedly informing everyone on the set of The Voice that they were not to even mention his ex in his presence:
"Blake has made it very clear that he does not want anyone to bring up her name in any way, shape or form.
"It is extremely tense on the set because you can see how pissed off and upset he is, but he is trying to pretend like everything is just peachy."
One source in the latest August 3, issue of InTouch Weekly insists that behind closed doors, Blake has been nursing the habit of acting a little nasty for some time now:
"He didn't always treat Miranda well when he was drinking, and she feared for her future with him.
"He would get drunk and belittle her...They've left things on a very sour note."
